So many things to do in Sparta, Michigan, and all so close to home.
Meadowlark is located in Sparta, a quaint village nestled amidst the Fruit Ridge – one of the world’s best and most unique growing regions. Spanning 160 square miles, the Ridge is dotted with fruit orchards, cider mills, corn mazes, and farmer’s markets. Downtown Sparta, just a minute or two from the Meadowlark campus, offers plenty of crowd-free dining, shopping, and entertainment options.
Meadowlark is 20 minutes from Grand Rapids, the second largest city in Michigan. Downtown Grand Rapids boasts more than 200 restaurants, shops, museums, and entertainment venues in a scenic riverside setting. Bring the grandkids to Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park, one of the world’s 100 most visited art museums; and John Ball Zoo, home to 2,000+ animals. Shop and dine in numerous commercial districts throughout the city, including the Alpine corridor, just 15 minutes from Meadowlark. Gerald R. Ford International Airport is 40 minutes away, and the sugar-sand beaches and glorious sunset of Lake Michigan are as close as 45 minutes from our campus.
